Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing solar energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Your primary focus will be on educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring their transition to renewable energy is seamless.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Outreach: Identify and connect with prospective clients through cold calls, networking, and referrals.

Consultative Selling: Conduct needs assessments and site evaluations to recommend customized solar solutions.

Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling presentations to educate clients on the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team targets.

Proposal Development: Create and deliver detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update client records in CRM systems while fostering long-term relationships.

Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on solar energy trends, products, and government incentive programs.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems, financing options, and state/federal incentive programs is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
